⏳ What happens next? The London Borough of Richmond Council will review your application, which can take up to five working days. As soon as they make a decision, we will drop you an email with the good news and your next steps!
💡 How the free 30-minute sessions work
Once approved, your free parking sessions are ready to use! To keep the system fair for everyone, the council has a few simple guidelines:
Keep them separate: Free sessions are capped at 30 minutes and cannot be combined with other bookings to extend a single stay.
The one-hour rule: You can enjoy multiple free sessions throughout the day, as long as there is at least a one-hour gap between the end of one free session and the start of the next.
Need to park during the gap? No problem! You can book a standard paid session during that one-hour window, and your resident discount will be automatically applied.
If you have any extra questions about how the resident parking scheme works, the Richmond Council team is always happy to chat.
