Discovering a transaction you don’t recognise can be worrying, but we’re here to help you get to the bottom of it. If you see a RingGo charge that looks unfamiliar, please follow these steps:
1. Double-check your recent activity
Sometimes parking charges can take a day or two to appear on your statement.
Check your receipts: Look at your RingGo "Recent Sessions" in the app.
Family & Friends: Check if anyone with access to your card or vehicle might have parked using your details.
2. Contact your bank immediately
If you’ve confirmed the charge wasn’t made by you or someone you know, contact your bank right away. They are the experts at securing your account and can stop any further unauthorised use of your card.
3. Ask us to trace the payment
We can help investigate where the charge came from. Please contact our customer care team here with the following details:
The date of the transaction.
The exact amount charged.
The last 4 digits of the card used.
Privacy Note: To keep everyone’s data safe and follow GDPR rules, we can help you identify if a payment was for a parking session, but we cannot share specific personal details or account information belonging to another user.
