We’re currently aware of phishing emails that appear to be from RingGo. These emails are not genuine and should be treated as suspicious.
They may include links or attachments that could lead to unsafe websites or attempt to access your personal information. Please do not click on any links or open attachments if you’re unsure the email is legitimate.
How to Spot a Suspicious Email:
- Check the sender's email address – Genuine RingGo emails will only ever come from an @ringgo.co.uk address.
- Hover before you click – Check where a link is really taking you before clicking. If it doesn’t look like a genuine RingGo URL, don’t proceed.
- Be wary of attachments – RingGo will never send files or documents out of the blue.
- Don’t share personal information – We will never ask you to provide login details, passwords, PINs or payment information via email.
If You Think You’ve Received a Scam Email:
- Do not click on any links or download attachments.
- Block and report the sender using your email provider’s tools.
If You've Shared Details or Clicked a Link:
- Reset your RingGo password immediately if you think your account may be compromised.
- Contact your bank or card provider right away if you’ve entered any payment details.
- You can also contact us directly if you need help securing your RingGo account.
We’re working with partners to take down fraudulent content, though some may remain visible due to overseas hosting. We really appreciate your help in keeping others aware and staying safe.
