If you notice a RingGo charge on your bank statement that you do not recognise, it could be a case of payment fraud. It is important to act quickly to protect your account and your payment card.
1. Check your RingGo account
- Log in to your RingGo account and review your recent parking sessions.
- Make sure the transaction is not linked to a session you booked, or one booked on your behalf.
- Check with colleagues, friends, or family members in case your payment card details were added to their RingGo account in the past.
2. Contact your bank immediately
If the payment is not yours:
- Report the unauthorised transaction to your bank straight away.
- Your bank may block or cancel your payment card to prevent further fraudulent use.
- Request a replacement card if needed.
3. Secure your RingGo account
- Make sure your mobile number and email address are up to date on your RingGo account.
- Reset your password to something strong and unique.
- Do not reuse a password you use for other services.
4. Stay safe with RingGo security
- RingGo requires two-factor authentication (2FA) to access an account, either through your mobile number or email address.
- Never share your RingGo login details or password with anyone.
- Monitor your bank statements regularly for unusual activity.
