At RingGo, we want you to have all the information you need before you even turn off the engine. Parking prices are set by local councils and operators, but we make it easy for you to see exactly what you'll pay.
1. Using the RingGo App
The most convenient way to check prices is directly on your phone:
Search by Location Code: Enter the location code found on local signs to see the specific rates for that spot.
Use the Map: Browse the map to see nearby parking areas. Tap on a location icon to view the tariff, chargeable hours, and any additional fees (such as convenience fees or optional SMS reminders).
2. Using the Online Parking Locator
If you’re planning your journey from home, you can check prices online:
Visit the Parking Locator: Head to the RingGo Parking Locator.
Search your Destination: Enter a town, postcode, or street name to see all available RingGo locations in the area and their full pricing details.
💡 What's Included in the Price?
When you check the price in the app, we’ll show you a breakdown of the costs:
The Parking Tariff: The base rate set by the council or operator.
Convenience Fee: In some locations, a small fee is added to cover the cost of the service and app improvements.
Optional SMS Services: You can choose to receive a confirmation text or a reminder 10 minutes before your time runs out (fees for these vary by location).
3. Check Local Signage
While we strive to keep our app updated in real-time, the signs on the street are always the "final word." We recommend a quick glance at the physical sign once you park to confirm the current rates and any bank holiday or special event variations.
