Having Trouble Logging In?
If you’ve recently updated your password but still can't access your account, don't worry. This usually happens if the new password doesn't quite meet our security standards. We use these requirements to keep your account—and your city—safe and secure.
How to Fix Login Issues
To get back into your account, we recommend performing a fresh reset with a password that meets the security criteria below.
1. Reset Your Password
Go to the Password Reset Page and choose a new, unique password. Using a password manager is a great way to stay secure and organised!
2. Check the Password Requirements
For your account to remain protected, your password must:
Be at least 8 characters long.
Include an uppercase letter (A-Z).
Include a lowercase letter (a-z).
Include a number (0-9).
Include a special character.
Allowed characters:
! # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / : ; = ? @ [ ] ^ _{ } ~**Please avoid:**< > \ "` (These characters are not supported for security reasons).
3. Speed Up Your Next Login
Once you're back in, you can skip the password entirely by enabling biometrics. It’s faster and keeps your account extra secure!
How to enable: Go to Account > My Profile > Toggle on Allow Face ID or Fingerprint to login.
