If you see a message in the RingGo app saying a car park is full, even though there are still spaces available, here’s what it means:
Why this happens
- Some car parks only allocate a set number of spaces for RingGo users.
- Once these RingGo-allocated spaces are taken, the app will show the car park as “full,” even if there are still spaces available for drivers paying another way.
- This is decided by the car park operator, not RingGo.
What you can do
- Check for another payment method at the car park (for example, a pay and display machine, contactless card payment, or chip and pin terminal).
Look for signs at the location explaining the accepted payment options.
If no alternative is available, you may need to choose a different car park nearby.
👉 If this happens often at a location you use, you can contact the car park operator directly to share feedback.
