Managing Your RingGo Account: Inactive & Denied Status
At RingGo, we want to make city life easier and more liveable by ensuring your parking experience is as seamless as possible. If you’ve run into a snag with your account status, here is a quick guide to getting back on the road.
1. How to Reactivate an Inactive Account
To keep our community secure, accounts with no activity for roughly 18 months are marked as inactive. If you’ve received an email warning or noticed your account is dormant, reactivating it is simple:
Log in via the App: Open the RingGo app and enter your credentials.
Log in via the Website: Visit myRingGo.co.uk and sign in.
Why this works: Simply logging in tells our system you're still with us. It immediately updates your status to active.
Note: Booking a session via our automated telephone line may not automatically refresh your account status. We recommend a digital login to be sure.
2. Resetting Your Password (VRN Verification)
If you’ve forgotten your password and need to reset it, we have an extra layer of security to empower you and protect your data.
When requesting a password reset, you will be required to provide your Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) for verification.
Ensure you have the registration plate of a vehicle currently saved on your account handy to complete the process.
3. What to do if your Account or Vehicle is "Denied"
A "Denied" status isn't permanent; it’s just a temporary block used to protect your account or address a specific issue.
Why it happens: This usually occurs if there is a payment discrepancy or a technical flag on a specific vehicle.
The Fix: Our Customer Care team is here to help you lift the block. Please reach out to us through our Contact RingGo Support.
What to include: To help us solve this quickly, please provide your account details and the Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) in question.

We’re dedicated to getting you moving again. If you can’t log in or the steps above don’t solve the issue, our support team is ready to assist.
