How to check for this option
Whether you can pay after the fact depends on the rules set by the local parking operator. To see if this is available for your spot:
Open the App or Website: Log in to your account and select your location.
Adjust the Time: Check if the system allows you to select a past start date or time.
Check the Limits: Most operators that allow this only let you go back up to 24 hours.
Note: If you cannot select a past time, it means retrospective payment is not supported at that specific location.
Important Things to Keep in Mind
We want to be as helpful and transparent as possible regarding parking rules:
Management vs. Payment: RingGo provides the automated payment service, but we do not manage the car parks or handle enforcement.
Penalty Notices (PCN): If you didn't pay at the time you parked, the local operator may have already issued a PCN.
No Guarantees: Making a retrospective payment does not automatically cancel a PCN if one was already issued. We recommend paying as soon as you realise the mistake to stay dependable.
