If you forgot to pay for parking, retrospective payment may be available in some locations. This means you can pay for parking after you’ve already parked, but only if the local parking operator allows it.
How to check if retrospective payment is available
You can only make retrospective payments through the RingGo app or the RingGo website.
- When booking, check if you can select a past start date and time for your parking.
- Some locations may restrict this option, only allowing parking to start up to 24 hours in the past.
If you don’t see this option, it means retrospective payment is not available at that location.
Important to know
- RingGo is an automated payment service and does not handle car park management or enforcement.
- If you didn’t pay at the time of parking, the local parking operator may have already issued a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
Retrospective payment is not a guarantee that you won’t receive a PCN.
